Research Interests
Carbohydrate biochemistry and enzymology, utilization of plant cell wall polysaccharides by yeast and fungi, regulation of production of extracellular enzymes, mechanism of action and reverse reactions of glycosyl hydrolases and esterases associated with plant cell wall degradation, bioconversion of hemicellulose.
